FieldQuote Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are provided by FieldQuote, the registered brand name that sends the text messages described below. FieldQuote lets trade shops build flat-rate quotes and text them to homeowners. By using FieldQuote, or by receiving texts through it, you agree to these terms.

Messaging terms

When you give your mobile number to a shop using FieldQuote, you agree to receive text messages about your quote and job, including the quote itself, approval confirmations, scheduling updates, and payment links. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel messages at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Quotes and jobs

Quotes show a flat price for the listed work and are valid for 14 days unless the shop states otherwise. Approving a quote by replying YES or tapping the approve link confirms you accept the quoted work at the quoted price.

Payments

Card payments are processed securely by Stripe or Square. FieldQuote does not store full card numbers.

Subscription and billing

FieldQuote is free for your first 10 quote texts. After that, a paid plan is billed monthly in advance: $19 per month for the standard plan, or $9 per month for early founding members. You can cancel anytime from Settings, then Plan and billing. Your service continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not give refunds for partial months.

Acceptable use

Shops may only text customers who have given their number and agreed to be contacted. Shops must honor STOP requests promptly.

Beta service

FieldQuote is currently in beta. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted for updates. We aim to keep it reliable but make no guarantees of uninterrupted availability during the beta.

Limitation of liability

FieldQuote is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
