FieldQuote Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is provided by FieldQuote, the registered brand name that sends the text messages described below. FieldQuote helps trade shops build quotes and text them to homeowners. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

When a shop uses FieldQuote, we collect the customer details the shop enters: name, mobile phone number, service address, and the quote or job details for that visit. We also collect the shop account details needed to run the service, such as the business name and login email.

How we use it

We use this information to create quotes, send quote and job update texts, and process payments. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers needed to run FieldQuote: Twilio to send text messages, Stripe or Square to process payments, Supabase to host the application data, and OpenSalesTax to look up sales-tax rates by ZIP code. Each provider handles the data under its own privacy policy.

Text messages

Homeowners receive texts only after giving their mobile number to the shop in person. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.

Your choices

To opt out of texts, reply STOP to any message. To ask for your information to be corrected or deleted, contact the shop that served you. Their business contact details are shown on your quote.

Data retention

We keep shop account and customer data while the account is active. A shop owner can close the shop at any time from Settings > Privacy: the shop shuts down immediately and its data is permanently wiped 30 days later. A single customer's data can be deleted the same way, immediately. If a shop closes its account another way, we delete its data on request.

Children

FieldQuote is a business tool and is not intended for children under 13.
